sermonette: Don't Lose Your Crown
Endurance and Perserverance
Mark S. Baker
Given 24-Jan-04; Sermon #648s; 15 minutes
Description: (hide)
Mark Baker, recounting the trials of a young Polish Jew named Oleg Stanski, surviving the rigors of a German forced labor camp, defines what it takes to endure horrendous fiery trials. The ingredients include (1) faith, (2) tenacity, (3) stamina and (4) perseverance. Few of us, to this point, have had to endure life and death afflictions, but we need to have the courage to do so if it is part of God's plan. We need to realize that whatever our trial or fate may be, God will not abandon or forsake us. If we persevere in the rigors or demands of our calling, we will not be disappointed in the ultimate outcome.
