Focusing upon the principle that we speak from the abundance of our hearts, John Reid admonishes us to be careful how we come before God Almighty in our daily prayers, breaking down the petitions thoughtfully and carefully, realizing that He can see right into the depths of our hearts, knowing intimately our motives. We should approach His throne with a sense of anticipation and appreciation. If we pray according to God's will, God will commence to shape our character, enabling us to take on God's very nature. We are admonished to pray for one another, the ministry and the life-sustaining messages going out to the world.
