sermonette: Sin Begets Sin
Leavening and Sin
David C. Grabbe
Given 06-Mar-04; Sermon #654s; 14 minutes
Description: (hide)
Examining the metaphor of leavening as a type of sin, David Grabbe exposes the corrosive homosexual agenda advanced in many Fortune Five Hundred corporations (tolerantly offering 'marriage benefits' to same sex couples), spreading tolerance for disgusting perversion and other abominable sins into the general culture. The corruption of the morals (or the tolerance for sin) in large corporations is a contributory factor in the demise of some of them, as evidenced by the Enron scandal. The hubris with which corporation executives protect and coddle sin will guarantee that the culture at large will become terminally infected with immorality. Sin begets sin, causing a chain reaction or ripple effect throughout the entire society. Sin doesn't exist in a vacuum, but inevitably breaks out of its corroded compartments, infecting the entire surroundings with evil.
