In this message, Clyde Finklea, distinguishing three separate judgments in the Bible: the judgment that was, the judgment that is, and the judgment that is to come, insists that called out Christians are spared the judgment of the world (the judgment that was), but must engage in self-examination and self—judgment (the judgment that is) instead of self-justification. If we successfully, with the help of God's Holy s Spirit, judge ourselves now, we will eventually stand before the judgment seat of Christ (the judgment to come), where our works will be thoroughly scrutinized or judged.
