telecast: Many Do Not Believe Christ's Message
Isaiah 55:6-9, John 8:20-36
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 30-Jul-79; Sermon #RAD8088; 28 minutes
Description: (hide)
Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that most professing 'Christians' believe the diametric opposite of what Christ actually taught and the customs He observed, and preach a gospel about His person, while rejecting His message. Christ required that repentance from sins and following His way (attaining the very mind of Christ) precede grace and justification. In addition to believing 'on' Christ, one must also believe 'in' Christ's message, forsake his past thoughts and ways or human nature, and yield unconditionally to His rule. The booklet What is the Reward of the Saved? and the Ambassador College Bible Correspondence Course were offered on this program.
