Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that one third of the Bible is prophecy of which ninety percent has not been fulfilled. The key players in these prophetic events are the descendants of Jacob and particularly the House of Joseph (consisting of the peoples of America and Britain- recipients of the birthright) and the House of Judah (recipients of the scepter promise)- bifurcated in their destinies since the time of Rehoboam and Jeroboam — having become two distinct cultures. America and Britain's ascent to greatness came about as a result of God's blessing to Abraham. Because of disobedience and profligacy, our peoples have placed these blessings in jeopardy.
