Luke 13:1-5 warns against presumptuously assigning blame, as some of the media pundits have done. On the other hand, we cannot assume that God did not intend for us, as the greater church of God, to learn lessons from this incident. The recent shock to the greater church of God should lead all of us to examine our own spiritual lives to see if we are still following God's lead.
