Bill Cherry, relating an amusing incident about his grandchild and focusing upon Hebrews 5:12, gives us some principles about dealing with immature babes in the faith or people new in the faith. Because people mature at different levels, it is best to use restraint in admonishing them.. Children don’t think like adults. The apostle Paul admonishes us to refrain from disputing or arguing with them. Paul also instructed us not to offend anybody’s conscience. We need to be careful to unnecessarily judging, but seeking instead to confer about the things leading to peace and harmony.
