God, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, protects His people, placing a protective hedge about them. The sermonette concludes with a story about a thirsty man traveling through Death Valley having to make a decision based on faith. Sometimes the trials and tests we go through require the same degree of faith. God the Father, who watches over us constantly like a loving parent, has instructed us that if we carefully follow His commands, we will have all the provisions we need.
