sermonette: Brim-full Obedience

Obeying Well Enables Us To Serve Well
Martin G. Collins
Given 09-Sep-06; Sermon #792s; 19 minutes

Description: (hide)

Martin Collins, using Christ’s first miracle of changing water into wine, suggested that brimful obedience was required on the part of the servants. We as servants are required do everything with our might. When Naaman was told to wash in the River Jordan seven times, his vanity at first made him angry, but as his servants pleaded him to follow those simple instructions from Elisha, Naaman was not only healed from leprosy by this simple act, but with youthful skin. The common denominator was following humbly the instructions in the role of servant.
