sermonette: Follow Through
Stiring our Brethren to do Good Works
Bill Onisick
Given 31-May-08; Sermon #884s; 15 minutes
Description: (hide)
Bill Onisick, reflecting on his tennis experience, draws some analogies applicable to the spiritual sphere, including setting ones feet, planning, and following through. As with beginning a tennis swing, spiritually we must start with our footing, considering God's light, truth, and love, motivating us to do His will, yielding to His workmanship. We must follow through, demonstrating little concrete acts of agape love, following His pattern of reciprocating His love toward us.
