sermonette: He Knows Them All by Name

God's Omniscience
Bill Onisick
Given 16-Aug-08; Sermon #896s; 16 minutes

Description: (hide)

Bill Onisick, describing a scene from a recent camping trip in which thousands of lightning bugs and millions of stars illuminated his way, reflected that the Hubble telescope, while it has greatly extended and intensified our penetration of the universe, has opened up vistas that we could never comprehend as mortal human beings. God Almighty calls every star by name and can discern every possible thought we might have. From the tiniest to the largest objects in the universe God is intimately aware. God is actively involved in all aspects of our lives, and His thoughts about us are infinite, and known from all eternity. There is nothing hidden from God Almighty. We need to unconditionally submit to our Omniscient Creator.
