sermonette: Hundred-Fold Return

Seed Time and Harvest
Martin G. Collins
Given 30-Sep-08; Sermon #903As; 15 minutes

Description: (hide)

In this offertory message, Martin Collins, focusing on the parable of the sower, reminds us that as the Word of God has been compared to seed, our money or currency has also been compared to seed. The terms hundred percent, hundred times, and hundred-fold are not synonymous. A hundredfold is an undetermined number representing complete productivity. Everything we sow in our life will eventually yield a seed-time harvest; we will reap what we sow. If we sow sparingly, we will reap an austere harvest, but if we sow abundantly, we will reap a hundredfold, bearing bountiful fruit, if we wait patiently and expectantly. God's seed time and harvest principles are irrevocable.
