telecast: The Way Out of Your Troubles

Romans 8:28, Hebrews 2:6, 4:14-16, 6: 1-20
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-34; Sermon #HA228B; 30 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W Armstrong reveals that the way out of frustration, worry, and anxiety is paradoxically to get the mind off self, maintaining continuous contact with our High Priest at the right hand of God the Father, someone who can sympathize and empathize and provide us with the strength to realize that everything we go through (good or calamitous) is for our ultimate good. If we yield to Him, we can start to bear the fruit of repentance, growing patiently in grace and knowledge, going on to perfection, developing confidence in God in the process. Our ultimate destiny is to be born into God's family as co-inheritors with Jesus Christ. The booklet The Book of Revelation: Unveiled at Last was offered on this program.
