Bill Onisick, reflecting on the deteriorating building projects caused by the downturn of the economy, maintains that buildings require regular continuous maintenance. We, as lively stones of God's spiritual temple, also require regular maintenance to keep from deteriorating. We as members of Christ's body must consistently edify and support one another, exhibiting the fruit of the spirit, restoring and building up those who have slipped and fallen, bearing one another's burdens, loving our neighbor as ourselves.
