Martin Collins suggests that God's Holy Days provide us vision, and this vision consists of hindsight, insight, and foresight. The examples of our forebears, as well as our own mistakes, provide us with hindsight. We gain foresight through God's Law and counsel from the wise. Insight involves getting to the crux of the situation. Foresight involves the ability to look forward and anticipate, developing faith. It takes faith to give tithes and offerings, but God blesses those who sow bountifully.
