James Beaubelle suggests that our favorite scriptures can provide the strength to fight our spiritual battles. We need to know we can call on God to provide daily supplies, both physical and spiritual, with the latter proving more important. As soldiers of God, we need to attend to our spiritual supply line, concentrating our efforts on the battle at hand, using the communication tools of prayer, Bible study, and meditation, getting our marching orders. We need to exclusively rely on God"s resources, exercising faith and obedience, as had our forbears Joshua and Elisha. The hardships and privations we endure now are just temporary, but we must realize that we are enlisted in God"s army and those who are with us are more than those who are with them. If God is with us, who can be against us?
