sermonette: Taking On An Attitude of a Bond Servant

Following Christ's Example of Servanthood
Bill Onisick
Given 28-Nov-09; Sermon #966s; 15 minutes

Description: (hide)

Bill Onisick, asking us hypothetically if we would meditate upon how terrible a day we will have, maintains that if we do not consciously harbor positive thoughts, we will by default think negatively, bringing upon the horrific things we do not want. Attitude is the only thing we can choose when we are confronted with events (good or bad). If we pattern ourselves after Christ's patient and humble servant-hood, desiring to please His Father, we will not be cast into negativity and hopelessness. We must choose the attitude of God"s bondservant, single-mindedly following the lead of our Elder Brother Jesus Christ, realizing God is the source of our power both to will and do.
