Martin Collins, focusing upon some headlines which point to increasing civil unrest and instability, affirms that protest movements are sprouting up all over the world. The recent reinstatement of the Patriot Act is an attempt to surreptitiously quash civil unrest and civil disobedience with the full unbridled force of the federal government, preparing for internment camps managed by the Department of Homeland Security and the Pentagon, using the pretext of a ‘national emergency.’ God’s called-out ones, though encouraged to be obedient to law, must nevertheless always opt for the higher ranking of God’s Law in the choice of loyalties, obeying God rather than man. We will undoubtedly need God’s protection and intervention when we become compelled to defy ungodly civil laws.
