David reminds us that Jesus Christ is the Creator, Designer, and Head of this physical creation, including all the physical laws that determine the ebb and flow of life forms, the weather patterns, the eco-systems, the orbits of the planets, the laws of physics, the laws of mathematics, the laws of health, etc. Jesus Christ is the Overseer of every power in the universe. Jesus Christ, as the image of God the Father, is the sustaining Head of the body, namely the Bride of Christ and determines the laws of growth and spiritual development of His spiritual creation. As long as we remain in Him, our spiritual growth will continue.
