Mitt Romney confided in his wife Ann that it would be difficult to fix the near-destroyed economy that would be inherited from Barack Obama. We are following the demise of Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, countries that will not pay their income taxes, but will willingly accept welfare doles. Shockingly 50% of Americans do not pay any taxes, but instead are recipients of entitlements paid for by a minority of productive people. Twenty-four percent of the total wealth (wealth taken from the productive private sector of the economy in confiscatory taxes) is spent by the federal government for entitlements. During the height of the New Deal in the Roosevelt Administration, this figure was only 4%. Freeloaders, unfortunately, are voters. Liberal Republicans pretending to be fiscal conservatives have aided and abetted the leftist Democrat thieves bent on redistributing the wealth. The Baby Boomers will soon add a crushing burden on Social Security, fueling another leftist drive for more confiscatory taxes. A German economist cynically referred to the ninth wonder of the world as the stupidity of the American tax payer totally oblivious to the danger of imminent economic collapse. Sadly, Americans (especially the 50% receiving entitlements) have no intention of sacrificing for the good of the country. Only a minority of the population believe a problem exists. Barack Obama has never even submitted a budget in his entire tenure as president.
