Herbert W. Armstrong marvels that in all the knowledge production of the world's colleges and universities, the mystery of the human mind has not been solved or explained. Spiritual knowledge cannot be attained through the five senses, but must be revealed by Almighty God through the begettal of His Holy Spirit with the spirit in man. Without the illumination of God's Holy Spirit (symbolized by the Tree of Life), spiritual knowledge seems foolishness. The human mind was made to need another spirit in order to form a relationship with God and attain spiritual knowledge.
