telecast: The Ten Commandments
Exodus 20, Matthew 5:17-37
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 10-May-79; Sermon #RAD8030; 28 minutes
Description: (hide)
Herbert W. Armstrong contends that very few individuals are aware of the origins of the customs and beliefs they have grown up believing. Contrary to what most professing Christians believe, Jesus did not come to do away with God's Law, but instead greatly magnified the law, demonstrating its more extensive, spiritual dimensions. The cause of all suffering on this earth is the breaking of God's Laws. Happiness and fulfillment can come only by being in sync with these Commandments in their full spiritual application. The booklets The Plain Truth About Christmas, The Ten Commandments, and the Ambassador College Bible Correspondence Course were offered on this program.
