telecast: The Days of Noah
Genesis 6:5-13/ II Timothy 3:1-5
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-79; Sermon #HA527B; 18 minutes
Description: (hide)
Herbert W. Armstrong contends that mankind hasn't a clue as to the way of true happiness or fulfillment. When left to its own devices with increasingly sophisticated technology, humanity (apart from the guiding hand of God) has placed itself menacingly close to destruction. The same intensity of wickedness and violence characterizing the days of Noah unfortunately also describes our contemporary times when ultimately no flesh would be saved alive except for God's intervention sparing His Elect. God offers protection to His called-out ones, those yielding to His will, overcoming their carnal natures with the aid of His Holy Spirit. The booklet Why Were You Born? was offered on this program.
