telecast: Proof of a True Prophet
Jeremiah 28,30
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-79; Sermon #HA535B; 26 minutes
Description: (hide)
Herbert W. Armstrong contends that the true litmus test of a prophet of God is whether the things he had spoken about had come to pass. Jeremiah, acting as a secretary or scribe of God Almighty, foretells a time of incredible tribulation, a time of Jacob's trouble, a time when modern Israel (the peoples of America, Britain, and Canada) and Judah will have a yoke placed upon them, only to be rescued by the antitype of Moses-Jesus Christ - who will gather a remnant, taking them back to their homeland. The booklet, The United States and the British Commonwealth in Prophecy was offered on this program.
