Herbert W. Armstrong, taking issue with the commonly held misconception that God's Law was not in force before Moses, contends that every law comprised by the Ten Commandments was fully in force before Moses. Jeremiah prophesies a time when God's Law, denigrated by most mainstream denominations as "done away" or "old covenant," will be permanently etched into our minds or hearts in a new covenant, amplifying the full spiritual intent of the Law.
