telecast: God Can Fortell the Future

Jeremiah 51:1-33
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-79; Sermon #HA538A; 26 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that no man can foretell the future, but Almighty God has inspired one third of the scriptures as prophecy, laying out the blueprint (either in duality or meant for the latter times only) for future events (Ninety percent has not yet been revealed). God has often used evil gentile nations to punish His own wayward people, using also a check or balance to bring in line His instrument of punishment. In Jeremiah 51, modern Babylon's ignominious end as well as the rescue of the remnant of the House of Israel is foretold. The booklets The Plain Truth About Easter, The Plain Truth about Christmas, The United States and British Commonwealth in Prophecy, and Are We Living in the Last Days? were offered on this program.
