telecast: We Don't Know God

Psalm 33, Isaiah 45:9-10
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-79; Sermon #HA538B; 26 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong, reflecting that one third of the Bible is prophecy and two thirds contains the purpose of God (as well as the instructions of how to fulfill this purpose), contends that God alone determines the outcome of world events, including the outcome of wars and battles, the boundaries of nations, and the outcome of political events. God's chosen people (the peoples of modern Israel- the peoples of America and Britain) has, for the most part, refused to fulfill the commission God has given them, calling for national punishment and disaster. Faithful to His covenant, God is calling a remnant of His people for the ultimate purpose of reproducing Himself. The booklets The United States and the British Commonwealth in Prophecy, What Kind of Faith is Required for Salvation? and The Ambassador College Bible Correspondence Course were offered on this program.
