telecast: Falling Away (Part 2)

John 17, III John 9-10, and Revelation2-3
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-79; Sermon #HA540B; 26 minutes

Description: (hide)

Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that the church God has established is not a visible, political organization, but an invisible organism - visible only to those who can read men's hearts. God's church is composed of those called-out by God (no one can voluntarily join it), imbued with His Holy Spirit, willing to totally submit to God's rule, continually growing in grace and knowledge, overcoming their carnal selves and taking on God's character. Only those individuals growing in grace and knowledge, and empowered by God's Holy Spirit are members of God's church. Historically, the true church, normally despised by the world, has often been cast out of a larger, bogus, corrupt apostatized, political organization. The Ambassador College Bible Correspondence Course and the booklet, Your Awesome Future-How Religion Has Deceived You were offered on this program.
