Herbert W. Armstrong reiterates that the church that Christ built is not a visible, political organization, but an invisible organism composed of individuals who have totally yielded to God's calling, forsaking their own way, allowing themselves to be corrected by His Word, following the prompts of His Holy Spirit. The large organized churches of this world (called Babylon or confusion), rejecting God's laws and adopting pagan customs and practices, do not belong to Christ even though they appropriate His name. Ironically these large organized groups have historically,fiercely persecuted the members of God's true church. The booklet The Plain Truth about Christmas was offered on this program.
