In this sermonette , Richard Ritenbaugh focuses on the descendants of Ishmael, proud, nomadic, independent, and unaccountable. Genesis shows Ishmael's progeny to be always in conflict, always spoiling for a fight. To this day, a perpetual conflict exists between Ishmael's offspring and Isaac's offspring, with the descendants of Ishmael determined to wipe Isaac's descendants off the earth.
