telecast: Why Does God Permit Suffering?
Genesis 10, Leviticus 26, Sowing and Reaping
Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986)
Given 01-Jan-34; Sermon #TWT2273B; 30 minutes
Description: (hide)
Herbert W. Armstrong asserts that mankind suffers as a result of breaking the laws of Almighty God. Because God has entrusted us with free moral agency (and has refused to "cram His religion down our throats"), we reap what we sow, experiencing the automatic consequences of broken spiritual and physical laws. If we break God's laws they will break us. Most professing 'Christian' denominations appropriate His name, but reject His message (of the kingdom of God) and His Laws. God has given us free moral agency or the power to choose (with all the powerful pulls and temptations) in order to develop godly character and to prepare to become transformed (or born) into His family. The booklet What Do You Mean - Kingdom of God? was offered on this program.
