Description: (hide)
Herbert W. Armstrong observes that physical knowledge has increased exponentially, but moral knowledge has lagged pitifully behind. Because of this disparity, there will come a time when God will be forced to intervene to save mankind from its own destruction. In the meantime, the Gospel is being preached throughout the world as a warning. Famine, pestilence, and captivity (described as the Great Tribulation) are forecast for the descendants of Jacob. Some of God's called out ones will be taken to a place of safety, while others will suffer persecution and martyrdom. Stark and terrifying cosmic disturbances will usher in the Day of the Lord, a time when God Almighty will put an end to man's foolishness resulting from sin. The booklet The United States and Britain in Prophecy and the Ambassador Bible Correspondence Course were offered on this program.
