Young Adult Bible Study
The Youth Bible Study will be held on Friday, September 20th at 7:00 p.m. Teenagers and young adults ages 13 and up are welcome.
Card Game Night
Come out and test your skills at either Spoons or Hearts … for big prizes! Games start at 8:00 on Sunday, September 22nd. Not interested in those games? Bring your own games and socialize with us!
The Nashville Scavenger Hunt on Monday, September 23rd is open to fun-lovers of all ages!
We are planning a Family Day at the Feast of Tabernacles this year for Monday, September 23rd. We will be at A-Game, the same facility as last year, but this year we are catering in a burrito bar from Qdoba. Tables and chairs will be setup overlooking the gym for eating and playing board or card games. We’ll have the traditional volleyball tournament, dodge ball, ice skating, table games and a “surprise activity” for active kids of all ages.
The cost for food and all activities will be $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-11.
There will be a sign-up sheet at the Feast for volleyball teams of 6 with at least 2 female players or 2 boys under age 16. There will also be a sign up sheet for individuals that are looking for a team.
Country Western Dance
Howdy, and attention all Thoroughbreds! Throw on your best boots and dust off your cowboy hats—it’s time to round up the pretty ladies for this year’s good ol’ fashioned Country Western Dance. The boot stompin’, leather slappin’, Tennessee shindig will take place in the Hoedown Room (Grand Ballroom) on Tuesday evenin’ at 7:30 pm. We’re plannin’ an enjoyable night of country music, dancin’ and non-stop yammerin’. Why, even the city slickers are welcome at this year’s festivities. See y’all there!
We will be having a best ball tournament this year on Tuesday, September 24th so if there is someone you would like to team up with now is the time to make those arrangements. It would be very helpful if all who are interested in participating would contact Gary Garrett at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the Feast this year as this greatly facilitates setting tee times. We will be playing a municipal course because the Hermitage is booked ahead for a tournament that day on both courses. Green fees should be around $40.
