The doctors operated on Jim yesterday, and removed the upper of his left lung. Miraculously, he is already breathing on his own, and the results of the tests that have been performed look good. Jim and his family are extremely grateful for the prayers offered on their behalf, and know they have been heard by God.

Jim has cancer in the upper part of his left lung, and the doctors want to remove the tissue on the left side of his chest. Please remember Jim and his family in your prayers, especially his mother-in-law, JerryJeane Merrow. Thank you.

JerryJeane Merrow reports that Jim is feeling a little better today (Friday) and that he is scheduled for an Ultrasound scan next Monday (June 21) to examine his liver and kidney damage. Jim, who is now 65 years old, lost one kidney to cancer fifteen years ago at which time his doctors gave him only five years to live. His present doctors say that his remaining kidney is only working at 2/3 its proper function. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Please pray for Jim Hizer, son-in-law of church member JerryJeane Merrow. Jim is suffering from a congested liver and related kidney problems. He is growing very weak and run down. Although Jim is scheduled for further tests next week, his doctors have told him that there is nothing they can do to improve his serious liver problem. Please also pray for Jim’s family.
