XML XML/RSS Feeds
CGG's World News is available in the RSS 2.0 format. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. RSS is an xml-based format which allows web publishers to create and disseminate feeds of data, based on the content of their website. RSS feeds can be viewed using specialist news readers.
To use this:
1) Select and Install an RSS Reader
There are a number of RSS readers. A list of available news readers, compatible with RSS 2.0, can be found at http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/directory/5/aggregators. (SharpReader is a good, simple RSS Reader.)
2) Open the RSS Reader and Select Your RSS Feed
RSS feeds are typically marked with the XML icon. When you see this image, click on it to obtain the RSS feed URL. Simply add this URL to your RSS feed.
