God's word reveals that Almighty God, already knowing the end from the beginning, often sees things that are not yet as though they already are. The apostle Paul assures us that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). The Feast of Tabernacles depicts a time when resurrected spirit beings will serve as kings and priests to rule with Jesus Christ over the rest of mankind on the earth. I Peter 2:9 confirms that God's called out ones are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession (I Peter 2:9). As we participate in the Feast of Tabernacles, God considers us in His very Family (His Kingdom) right as we sit here. The Feast is an opportunity for us to rehearse our roles as priestly royalty in every relationship we have while staying closely attached to the John 15:5 Vine, learning and rehearsing God's word, realizing that the priest's lips should keep knowledge of the law at his mouth, for he is the messenger of the Lord of Hosts (Malachi 2:7). We have a much bigger reason for developing godly character than merely make it into the Kingdom. We are rehearsing our roles as a royal priesthood.
