Even though all the weekly and annual Sabbaths focus on Jesus Christ's work, Pentecost is perhaps the most significant, because on Pentecost, Jesus empowered His disciples, then and now, to receive the power of the Holy Spirit to keep God's holy and spiritual law both in the letter and spirit, protecting them from the incessant lies emanating from Satan's culture. This empowerment miracle did not take place until Christ was out of sight from His disciples, assuming His role as intercessor and High Priest for all of us, as His and God the Father's mind dwells within our nervous systems. Of the offerings given on Pentecost, after the burnt offerings are completed, the peace offering is given to satisfy the desire of God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and all the called-out saints to experience fellowship and unity, made possible with the heart and core of all sacrifices, namely love. Through the access of the mind of Christ through the gift of God's Holy Spirit, we bring a spontaneous free will offering. Rejoicing did not become commanded until Pentecost, a joyous time in which God has brought us into fellowship with Our High Priest, enabling peace with Him. When we are at peace with God, we can rejoice.
