When we lose our focus or when we have the wrong focus, we spiral out of the sky. Our ancestors spiraled out of the sky when they started to concentrate upon the problem, exaggerating petty details until they became dissatisfied, focusing on physical things. We cannot, as they did, become bored with spiritual food. Our ancestors continued to spiral out of the sky as they developed contempt for the problem, having bad feelings and attitudes against God. After having developed contempt, our ancestors started to contrive to solve the problems themselves, something we also are prone to do. By living by our own contrived solutions, we become controlled by the world or conformed to the world, in danger of quenching God's Spirit.
