commentary: It Won't Stop Until We Stop Giving Permission
John W. Ritenbaugh
Given 15-Dec-12; Sermon #1134c; 13 minutes
John Ritenbaugh, focusing on Ezekiel 7:23-26, and reflecting on the horrible elementary school massacre in Connecticut in mid-December, 2012 observes that this nation has had no trouble tolerating the murder of young people. (52,000,000 abortions have been committed in 40 years—1,333,000 murders per year.) Science is for all practical purposes neutral to good or evil, but in the hands of fallible human beings, it tends to be used for evil purposes. Today, because of ill-conceived vaccines, 1 in 88 children will fall victim to autism. Science has tampered with our food supply through hybridizing and genetically modifying seeds. All sin has occurred from the beginning because God has given people the ability to make choices. Knowing that God is right will deter us from making the wrong choice.
