Undergiving in offerings, sometimes caused by mismanaging our finances, is more often caused by passively forgetting the blessings God has given us. God has blessed His people, enabling them to return thanks to God. Ironically, after people have been richly blessed, they tend to forget the source of these blessings. Following David's example, we should not give an offering that costs us nothing. The value of God's message, redemption, peace of mind, divine protection, healing, qualities developed within us, and trials (when considered properly) are priceless.
