There is a monumental, shameless hypocrisy in liberal media reporting, promoting race riots in Baltimore by characterizing the killing of Freddie Gray as police brutality while hypocritically remaining silent when Marian Kerry, an unarmed Black woman who had committed no crime and was not fleeing, was killed by Capitol Police. Black Lives Matter (an organization funded by white billionaire George Soros) has one narrative, and that is to condemn and harass policemen trying to do their jobs under horrendous circumstances. To the state-controlled liberal 'progressive' media, Black lives do not matter if Planned Parenthood stealthily eliminates nearly 400,000 of them each year. Indeed, in the minds of media chiefs, it is clear that Black lives do not matter in cases where young Black males murder other young Black males in stupefying numbers—another silent epidemic. Black Lives Matter and the mainstream media will continue to ignore these facts of Black lives because they are not part of their sinister race-baiting narrative.

The example I am going to begin with today is not directly a politically correct one demanded either by the government or by society in general, but at the same time it does fit in with the peculiar traits of one to some degree because we are being expected to simply overlook the egregious tragedy inflicted.

You may not remember the name Miriam Carey, but she became the Black life that didn’t matter even though she was not a fetus like those aborted. In fact, she was an adult and she was not a man who killed police, but simply an early-30s woman.

Michael Brown of Missouri and Trayvon Martin of Florida were shot and killed by men who were defending themselves. Even so, a great cry arose that their deaths were unjustified. Both juries containing Black and White members upon hearing the evidence by unanimous verdict saw the deaths as justified.

In Baltimore upon hearing of Freddy Gray’s death while in police custody, again it was charged that his death was unjustified. Riots ensued in which portions of Baltimore were burned, apparently inspired by the Black Lives Matter organization. Again, all six police officers charged—including Black officers—were declared innocent when evidence was presented.

So what happens when, after mistakenly turning into the White House entrance driveway, an unarmed Black mother with a toddler in tow is chased by Capitol police who, upon catching up to her, open fire on her car, killing her and barely missing the toddler? Did the Black Lives Matter organization stir up a riot in the streets? Remember, Washington, DC, is a heavily Black city. I believe 72% Black. Was even an official demand made to punish the police?

Did any Black organization make a rigorous outcry for justice? You probably remember this event because reports were made in the mainstream news, featuring videos of the action of the police in chasing this woman, for about 24 hours—it was the hottest piece of news—and then suddenly, almost as if someone flipped a switch, it disappeared from view, accompanied by a deafening silence.

Let me give you a bit more background on what some investigative reporting has uncovered regarding Miriam Carey. First of all, it has been determined—probably from testimony by the Capitol police—that she accidentally turned onto the driveway leading to the White House Guard post.

She did not ram any gates as if to enter White House grounds. In addition, she did not break any laws to accomplish what she did to the point where police began chasing her. She did not flee when she got turned about and left White House grounds at a lawful speed for Washington streets. She was unarmed.

By this time, though, she was being chased down by security forces. She was shot in the back. Can it be added to a conclusion that Black lives matter only if you happen to be in political agreement with the organization? Because on the surface it appears Black lives don’t matter if you are a baby, and now if you are a woman. There is going to a book published on this incident in September, but what is being leaked in advertising the book is causing at least a small stir.

I do not know whether it will ever be helpful, but some reports are indicating that anger and resentment is building among women within Black communities in larger cities against the Black Lives Matter organization. Why? The major complaint is that the organization pays almost no attention to Black-on-Black murder, which the statistics reveal are horrifically lopsided when compared to white-on-white murders or Latino-onLatino murder statistics. Black males are killing other Black males at a far higher rate than police are killing Black males, and yet the organization is railing against the police rather than seeing themselves at war within their own communities.

It is interesting, but representatives of the organization have justified themselves and their operations from the criticism originating in the Black communities by saying their only purpose is in seeking justice. What justice is there for the babies who are being murdered? What justice is there for Miriam Carey? [Black Lives Matter] just isn't there. They are nothing but a political stirring-up group who want to keep the pressure to get what they desire rather than cleaning up their own community.
