sermonette: The Iniquity of the Amorites

Their Corruption is in Them
Richard T. Ritenbaugh
Given 24-May-08; Sermon #883s; 22 minutes

Description: (hide)

Richard Ritenbaugh laments that because of multiculturalism, political correctness, and mush-headed tolerance, we as a culture (and by extension members of God's Church) have sanctioned sin and corruption, considering ourselves as more 'tolerant' than God, buying into the notion of 'moral equivalency' making no difference whatsoever between profane and holy. God is quite clear that any offering made to Him must be unblemished and could not come from a foreigner's defiled hand. Anything associated with the religion or ways of the Canaanites or Amorites (participants in death cults, fertility cults, and temple prostitutes) was totally abominable in the eyes of the Lord. God could not have accepted an offering sown and grown by the Canaanite culture.
