Feast of Tabernacles 2025 Information

Dear Brethren,

We are excited to announce that the time has arrived for us to make our reservations for the 2025 Feast of Tabernacles! Our great God commands us to come together each year in a spirit of love and fellowship to worship Him, while appreciating the abundant blessings He has provided and will provide in our walk with Him and in His soon-coming Kingdom.

We are thankful that God has, once again, provided for us to keep the Feast of Tabernacles in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As in previous years, we will be staying at the Doubletree Resort by Hilton.

The dates for this year’s Feast are Tuesday, October 7, through Tuesday, October 14, 2025. As is our tradition, the first service will take place following sunset at the beginning of the Feast, at 7:30pm on Monday, October 6.

Making Reservations

Use the following link to reserve your room(s) online: 2025 FOT Reservations

PLEASE NOTE: If booking online you will need to confirm the dates you will be arriving and departing. The hotel automatically puts in all dates our group rate applies for (October 5 - October 15) so if you will be arriving or departing on different dates, please edit accordingly.

If you require an accessible room and/or a room with a roll-in shower, please let Samantha Swanson know as soon as possible. Her email is sswanson@cgg.org.

If you must make your reservation(s) by telephone, you will need the following information:

Reservations: 855-778-1190

Please state that you are with Church of the Great God - Feast of Tabernacles and your group's rate code is: "901". Be sure to confirm our negotiated nightly rate with the reservationist.

The room rate is $179.00, which includes a $15.00 resort fee, add to that a $1.00 destination fee, and taxes (12% = $21.48), bringing the approximate total to $201.00/night. The room types available are one king bed, two queen beds, connecting, and accessible. Breakfast is not included.

This year the hotel has further limited the number of guestrooms available for us in the Ellie Resort. These rooms will be allocated with priority going to those needing direct access to our meeting room.

Please make your reservation(s) as soon as possible to aid us in festival planning.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your reservation(s), please contact Samantha Swanson.

Deadlines and Cancellations

All room requests must be booked by the cut-off date of August 31, 2025. After that date, the resort will release any remaining rooms in our block to the public. You may cancel your reservation at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date.

Sharing a Room or Ride

If you would like to share a room or ride to and from the Feast site but are unable to arrange it yourself, or if you have extra space in your room and/or vehicle that you are willing to share, please let Joe Baity know at jbaity@cgg.org or 803-802-7075.

Tithe of the Tithe

Along with the planning for the Feast of Tabernacles comes our opportunity to assist with festival expenses by sending in a tithe of your second tithe. This longtime church practice ensures that all brethren can attend and enjoy the Feast. The church uses the majority of this fund to assist those who do not have enough second tithe. Any remainder helps to contribute to all other festival expenses.

If you would like to contribute a tithe of your second tithe, please clearly label your donation as "Tithe of the Tithe" so it can be credited to the proper account.

Festival Assistance

Sometimes pride keeps us from asking for help, or perhaps we feel we would be a burden to others, but if you genuinely need financial assistance to attend the Feast, the church and its members want to help! If you have faithfully saved your second tithe and are still coming up short, make your need known to God through prayer and to your brethren, and God will provide what you need.

If it becomes evident that you will need assistance from the church, please make a proposed Feast budget and submit it to Martin Collins (mcollins@cgg.org or CGG, PO Box 471846, Charlotte, NC 28247-1846) as soon as possible. The church will then do its best to provide what you need in a timely fashion.

Throughout the years, brethren who had very little money for the Feast have experienced an outpouring of love and generosity from those who had more. We should all want and strive to help others enjoy the Feast as much as possible. Being generous with the festival tithe helps us exhibit the loving family relationship that characterizes God's people.

We are looking forward to being together this year in Myrtle Beach. So work hard to be healthy and prepared, and God-willing, we will see you in a few months!

Kind regards,

Martin G. Collins

Festival Coordinator
