The blood of saints and martyrs marks a tragic history, as seen in Revelation and Daniel. Souls slain for their testimony and the Word of God cry out for justice under the altar in Revelation's fifth seal, awaiting the completion of their fellow servants' martyrdom. Their sacrifice, though appearing tragic, is an offering to God for truth. Israel, depicted as the Great Harlot in Revelation 17 and 18, bears the guilt of past martyrs' blood and will add more in the future through unfaithful conduct. Yet, amidst persecution, promises of deliverance, protection, and eternal kingdom reign with Christ endure for the faithful, as affirmed in Revelation 20:1-6 and Daniel 7:18.

Becoming Like Little Children

Feast of Tabernacles Sermon by Kim Myers

Brethren, as we reflect on the trials and hardships we endure, we are reminded of the ultimate hope and promise found in the Kingdom of God. In Revelation 20:1-6, we see the vision of the first resurrection, where the souls of those who were beheaded for their testimony about Christ, for proclaiming the Word of God, and who refused to worship the creature or accept his mark, come to life again. They reign with Christ for a thousand years, blessed and holy, as priests of God and of Christ, free from the terror of the second death. This celebration at the Feast of Tabernacles marks not only the imprisonment of satan for a thousand years but also the establishment of the Kingdom of God and the millennial reign with Christ as kings and priests. Furthermore, in Daniel 7:18, we are assured that the saints of the Most High shall receive the Kingdom and possess it forever, even forever and ever. This eternal promise calls us to endure our present sufferings and to become as little children, focusing not on what they do, but on what they do not do, as we qualify for this everlasting inheritance. Through many tribulations, as stated in Acts 14:22, we must enter the Kingdom of God, strengthened in faith and resolute to continue despite the pressures we face.

Famine (Part Three): The Abundance of God's Salvation

Sermon by Martin G. Collins

In the exploration of future famine and the unfolding of end-time events, the fifth seal of Revelation reveals a profound period of Great Tribulation marked by the martyrdom of the saints. Under the altar, the souls of those slain for the Word of God and their testimony cry out for justice, asking how long until the Lord avenges their blood on those dwelling on the earth. They are given white robes and told to rest a little longer until the number of their fellow servants and brethren, who are yet to be killed as they were, is completed. This martyrdom, though appearing as a tragedy and a waste of fine lives, is ultimately an offering to God, a sacrifice for right and truth that ends in hope and a greater good. During this time of intense persecution, driven by the desperation of satan as his time grows short, the wrath of the adversary fuels increased suffering for God's people. Yet, amidst this distress, there is a promise of deliverance and protection for those who remain faithful, highlighting the enduring spiritual principle that every life laid down for God's cause is a sacred offering.

The Beast and Babylon (Part Eight): God, Israel, and the Bible

'Personal' from John W. Ritenbaugh

The blood of the saints already stains Israel's histories, marking a despicable and hypocritical record against God. More blood will be added afresh to her descendants' shameful legacy in the near future. As the Great Harlot of Revelation 17 and 18, Israel, primarily led by the Joseph tribes, bears the guilt of martyrs' blood on her hands from the past, and this tragic stain will reappear as she continues her unfaithful conduct.

Imagining the Garden of Eden (Part One)

Sermon by Richard T. Ritenbaugh

The imagination enables mankind to envision both beneficial and harmful purposes. Imagination is a gift from God that can be used positively or negatively.

The Woman Atop the Beast (Part 2)

'Prophecy Watch' by Richard T. Ritenbaugh

The great harlot of Revelation 17 has great wealth and bloodthirsty persecution of God's people. We must watch world events and come out of her ways.
