  • Ephesians 6:1-9
    Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise: "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth." And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

  • Genesis 2:21-24
    And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said:
    “This is now bone of my bones
    And flesh of my flesh;
    She shall be called Woman,
    Because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

  • Exodus 20:12

  • Romans 9:22-23

  • Genesis 1:27-28
    So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. • Genesis 2:18

  • 2 Timothy 3:1-5
    But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. • Malachi 2:10-16
    Have we not all one Father?
    Has not one God created us?
    Why do we deal treacherously with one another
    By profaning the covenant of the fathers?
    Judah has dealt treacherously,
    And an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem,
    For Judah has profaned
    The LORD"s holy institution which He loves:
    He has married the daughter of a foreign god.
    May the LORD cut off from the tents of Jacob
    The man who does this, being awake and aware,
    Yet who brings an offering to the LORD of hosts!
    And this is the second thing you do:
    You cover the altar of the LORD with tears,
    With weeping and crying;
    So He does not regard the offering anymore,
    Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands.
    Yet you say, "For what reason?"
    Because the LORD has been witness
    Between you and the wife of your youth,
    With whom you have dealt treacherously;
    Yet she is your companion
    And your wife by covenant.
    But did He not make them one,
    Having a remnant of the Spirit?
    And why one?
    He seeks godly offspring.
    Therefore take heed to your spirit,
    And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
    " For the LORD God of Israel says
    That He hates divorce,
    For it covers one"s garment with violence,"
    Says the LORD of hosts.
    " Therefore take heed to your spirit,
    That you do not deal treacherously."

  • Ephesians 5:18-21

And they shall say to the elders of his city, 'This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.'
