Among the various views, ideologies, and perspectives floating around the world, we must try every day to be aligned with God's way. Focusing on II Corinthians 5, we see our old identities and understandings are passing away and now we are gaining God's mindset. Starting in school or before, we are surrounded by messages that we are part of this side or this tribe. As society continues its divisive descent, many members of God's church are being drawn back into their carnal mindsets and plunged into aligning tribally again with one faction of the world or another. As demonstrated in Matthew 4, we see who controls each faction and each nation on the earth-Satan. No matter what each side wants though, the world goes according to God's pace and supporting one side might go against God's will. We are to remember each day, that it is tempting to pick a side, but an ultimate reward awaits those who stay with God.
