The Handwriting Is on The Wall (2003)
Feast of Tabernacles Sermon by John W. RitenbaughIn the midst of warnings and prophecies about the approaching crisis and the return of Jesus Christ, there is a poignant concern about the inability to hear God's voice. The question arises, to whom shall I speak and give warning that they may hear? The ears of many are uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken; the word of the Lord is unto them a reproach, and they have no delight in it. Despite the sounding of the trumpet through warnings given over time, the people refuse to listen, declaring they will not hearken. This persistent rejection echoes through the cycles of history, as the call to return to the old paths and walk in the good way is met with defiance, with many saying, we will not walk therein. This deafness to God's voice underscores the deepening crisis, as the world continues to unravel, blind to the true solution that awaits at Christ's return.
