Places of Safety
'Prophecy Watch' by StaffOur Savior Jesus Christ, in His prayer to the Father in John 17:12, declares that while He was with them in the world, He kept them in the Father's name, ensuring none were lost except the son of perdition to fulfill Scripture. His words offer encouragement, assuring us that once we are in His grasp, He diligently works to keep us safe and on the right path. This promise extends beyond His disciples to all who believe in Him through their word, providing a security centered on spiritual safety and salvation, and sometimes physical deliverance according to God's will. Revelation 3:10 further reinforces this, as Jesus promises to keep His people from the hour of trial that will come upon the whole world. Despite uncertainties about a specific location for safety, the assurance remains that if we are truly in Christ, He is our most secure Place of Safety. His presence guarantees that He has not lost even one whom God has given Him, offering unwavering protection amidst any dangers we may face.
