This age and nation exist in a prolonged state of moral decline marked by unrestrained gross sins of human nature and an unwillingness to acknowledge the plainly revealed attributes of God. Within this environment a culture of death prevails, one that can furnish only a quantity of life while withholding any genuine quality or lasting purpose. Its core remains rotten, concealing an underlying sickness and stench of death beneath outward displays of wealth, music, and pleasure that falsely promise solutions and an ever-brightening future through mere evolutionary progress. The system sustains constant pressure on the carnal nature, driving people to seek ease through self-satisfaction and a way of get rather than measuring their days or pursuing God. Consequently, men drift from one day to the next without rest or peace, exposed to increasing sin and diminishing focus on matters of eternal consequence. Such drifting produces cross-contamination, as surrounding perversion and misinformation gradually appear normal, and it fosters exhaustion that weakens both physical and spiritual resolve. These conditions stand in direct opposition to the calling to come out of Babylon, to give earnest heed to the words of Christ, and to hold fast the hope of entering the rest that remains for the people of God.
